It’s been a while since I worked in an office. I’ve been telecommuting for the last 15 years or so. Either as a freelancer or as a full-time telecommuter. But I remember the days of being stuck in an office and tossing crumpled up paper into a wastebasket every once in a while. There was always a genuine feeling of satisfaction when I hit the shot and the paper went into the wastebasket. And, of course, I also felt a sense of disappointment and annoyance when I missed shot.

Well now you don’t need to be in an office to have a bit of fun tossing crumpled up papers into a wastebasket. Paper Toss, from Backflip Studios, is a simple but fun game that lets you pretend you’re a bored office worker. Flick the paper and watch it float through the air and, hopefully, into the wastebasket. But wait…you didn’t actually think that it would be that easy did you?

Take note of the fans in the office because they’re going to blow your paper all over the place. It’s up to you to carefully plan your shot and hope that the fan doesn’t blow it too far off course. Don’t worry though, there are three difficulty levels in Paper Toss so you can start off on easy and progress to medium or hard later on. As you play your coworkers will make various remarks that will remind you of why you prefer to telecommute instead of being trapped in the office with them.
