Well Christmas is almost here and it’s time to spread good cheer and enjoy the season. And what better way to do this than to download and install a few free Christmas apps onto your iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPod Touch?

GPS Christmas List
Christmas is a crazy time for most of us as we run around buying gifts, going to parties and just generally trying to enjoy the season. What a true horror it would be if we forgot to do one of the many things on our to-do lists! Fortunately this season Seth Bond has released a free version of the GPS ToDo List with a Christmas theme.

Let’s say you created a to-do that involved having to pick up a gift at Wal-Mart. GPS Christmas List will let you set an alert that will go off when you are at Wal-Mart. It’s a very convenient way of making sure you don’t inadvertantly forget something when out and about. The app uses GPS, wi-fi and cell tower triangulation to know where you are.

Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is one of the best known and most beloved Christmas stories of all time. Generation after generation has grown up reading it and watching movies and TV productions of its famous story.

Although I’m tempted to talk about what’s in the book, I am not going to discuss a word of it here. I don’t want to give anything away and ruin the story for you. Suffice to say that this is a free download and you will enjoy it immensely as part of your Christmas holiday.
