The game changes the backgrounds each time the level changes. You’ll see fields, trees and pretty hills in the background while your turkeys move around. I find the backgrounds quite attractive as they have that late autumn, New England type feel to them. You can customize Turkey Hunt by turning off the sound effects and you can adjust the size of the turkeys (thus making them easier or harder to shoot).

Note that the game also tracks your high scores. So you can keep trying to beat your scores over and over again if you want. Hey, if you’re stuck at an airport or a meeting somewhere why not try to beat your score?

Turkey Hunt is a simple game that shouldn’t be taken too seriously by iPhone 3G gamers. Enjoy it for what it is and see how many plump, juicy turkeys you can shoot down for Thanksgiving!
