The sound is also good and fits into the colorful racing tracks. I noticed a bug when I paused CBNK and my iPhone 3G locked itself. When I unlocked my iPhone and resumed the game, I had no sound. This didn’t happen if I just paused the game and didn’t wait long enough for my iPhone to lock itself. Not a big deal by any means but I’ll note it here for the developers in case it’s something they want to fix. The sound later came back on by itself though so I’m not sure what the problem was.

The Final Word
CBNK is one of the best racing games for the iPhone 3G. It’s got great graphics and some very fun gameplay that is sure to please any kart racing fan. The game itself weighs in at a very petite 7.0 MB so it isn’t going to take up much space on your iPhone 3G at all. I’d like to see a free, trial version released though so those who haven’t played it could at least get a taste of what they’re missing.

CBNK is definitely on the “must-have” list for iPhone 3G gamers.

The Good: Great graphics, automatic acceleration, story mode and unlockable characters.
The Bad: There’s a bit of slowdown at times when the screen gets especially full in certain areas. Automatic acceleration may annoy hard-core racers who prefer manual control.
Overall: CBNK is a terrific racing game for the iPhone 3G and it’s well worth the price of $5.99. You get a lot of play time and replay value for your money. Highly recommended.
