Are you a lazy couch potato? Do you hate getting up to change the music, TV show or movie on your iMac? Well don’t worry, Remote has you covered. You won’t have to move an inch…well you will have to reach for your iPhone and push on the screen a few times…but other than that you won’t have to do much at all.

Remote lets you skip, pause, shuffle and play. And it’s not just music that you control, it’s basically everything in your iTunes library. Once it connects to your iMac or Apple TV you can opt to play anything you want. I was able to play my favorite TV shows and movies right from the comfort of my easy chair.

You can also see album artwork, create and update your Genius playlists, search your iTunes library and control your AirTunes speakers. Remote isn’t a complicated app at all to use but it’s sure is a useful thing.

Especially for us couch potato types.
