Some of us have a tough time falling asleep or even relaxing. Well if you’re an iPhone 3G owner then you’re in for a treat with White Noise. White Noise is a very simple application that lets you kick back and chill to some relaxing sounds.

You can adjust the volume and you can use a timer that you can use to control how long White Noise plays. The time goes all the way up to 12 hours so you have plenty of time to enjoy the sounds produced by White Noise. The timer has fade, alarm and exit options as well. You can also now adjust the pitch and the balance of the app.

I found the Crickets and Beach Waves particularly relaxing. Version 2.2 really buffed up the number of sounds and added a lot of value to White Noise. A good app gets even better with a free update. You can’t ask for much more than that.

White Noise is well worth the .99 cent purchase price. Insomniac iPhone 3G owners will absolutely love it.

Overall: White Noise is worth the .99 cents it costs. It’s cheap and it works well for those who need it.
